Teachback reflection ED 450 Chapter 7 Constructed Response Tests

I  think I did a good job on my teachback, I had to read the chapter a few times to figure out what I should focus on for my power-point. After I figured that out I had to decide what warm-up activity I was going to do for my bell-work and warm activity. I had to make sure they were related to my topic and my student learning objectives. I was a little nervous, but once I started my presentation I calmed down and I was able to focus on my presentation to the class.

Professional Portfolio

A Professional Portfolio should be filled with evidence of what we  have learned and what experiences we  have in the field of education. It should also have student work samples with samples of lesson plans and learning objectives that have been used in the classroom. The portfolio needs to give an idea of who we are and what we believe in and what are our goals for the future. It needs to show evidence of the our educational growth, our portfolios reflect who we are as teachers and what we have learned and what we will continue to learn.

Smartboards

A smartboard is a interactive whiteboard that can display images from a computer screen that are projected on the board by a camera. The smartboard replaces the overhead projectors  that have been used in the classrooms, it also eliminates the need to use a  transparency when you are teaching in the classroom. All you have to do is place the worksheet under the camera and it will project the image on the board. It also allows the classroom teacher to show videos and educational movies using the smartboard. It also helps the visual learners who need to see the math problem on the board and use visual cues to get the answer.

Eric's Personality Test

I took the personality test and my results were ESFJ, Extra-vent was 11% with a slight preference of extra version over introversion. S for sensing was 1% I had a marginal or no preference for sensing over intuition. F for  feeling it was 38% moderate preference for feeling over thinking. J was judging 44% with a moderate preference for judging over perceiving. I think the results of my test are correct, I am a people person I really enjoy spending time with my co-workers and friends. I also enjoy meeting new people and I am very social.
For the sensing part I look at the big picture before I do something, i like to think things through look at the details, then I do what I have to do. The feeling part is true I am very social and honest. For the judging part once i set my mind to something I have to finish it.I look at all the options to get the project done.
