Things need to be CONSISTENT we need to stop changing it every other school year. we cannot check for assessment if they keep changing it every year.

teacher made assessments, ready made assessments differentiated instruction and group and individual work.

Asking questions, students will demonstrate what they have learned, how they answer questions, role-play.
5. Why do you assess students?
to see what level they are at, to find out how many students need more assistance, more time and one to one help in the classroom.
6. Do you prefer the old methods of assessment or the new techniques we are using to assess students?
We have to have different forms of assessment for the different students that we teach in the classroom. students learn in different ways.
7.How do you monitor student progress?
teacher observations, student work, and anecdotal notes.
8. What is your favorite form of assessment?
None, they all tell us the same information.
9. How do you collaborate with your grade level team on assessment?
We figure out what assessment we are going to use, it helps us to identify what level our students are at, and we share teaching ideas with each other.
10. How do you help a struggling student?
I provide more support so that they can be successful in the classroom, if they are having problems during math, i have them draw circles to help them count when we are doing math in the classroom. Visual cues help them to count and solve the math problems..
